It is the most honest, informative and through guide to caring for someone with dementia and/or Alzheimer’s I have ever read! Honestly, I feel this book should be a mandatory read for anyone who comes into contact with, cares for or has in their family someone with this illness. The author has created a step-by-step guide to help people navigate and care for someone with such a heart wrenching illness. I wish doctors everywhere could hand this book to people who are just discovering or are in the early stages of this disease so they know what to do, how to do it and understand that they can truly get through it. This covers insights and real life examples that is important for a caregiver minus complicated analysis. You can tell he is a private and protective person by the way he loves and respects his loved one. I have deep admiration for him and understand more clearly the aspects of Alzheimer's on people it afflicts, how it affects the caregiver, and their response. Most excellent! I think the beauty of this book is you can see how everything is motivated by love, kindness and faith. It really gives insight into how Alzheimer's effects your loved one and how you can support them through it in a way that is beautiful, simple and works for them. I loved the stories and topics discussed as I am sure most don't want to mention certain things. Thank you for an insightful read, full of love, laughter and honesty.
